energySMART Rebates Terms and ConditionsEffective September 1, 2010 the deadline to submit an online rebate claim and submit supporting documentation is 30 days from purchase or installation. For purchases prior to September 1, 2010 an online rebate claim must be submitted within 45 days of purchase or installation and supporting documentation provided within 90 days of purchase or installation.
The deadline for submitting any purchase is 90 days from purchase or installation. Therefore, purchases in June, July and August may have later deadlines than items purchased in September. Please be sure to submit your claim and documentation accordingly.

High Efficiency Furnace $500 Rebate (90%+ AFUE)
Terms and Conditions: Rebate applies to residential customers of Virginia Natural Gas who have a current gas account in good standing and who are purchasing natural gas furnaces with an AFUE of at least 90% or higher, and which are the primary heating system. Furnaces purchased as part of a dual fuel HVAC system or heat pump do not qualify. Purchases must be made between January 1, 2009, and July 15, 2009, or after November 10, 2009. Virginia Natural Gas’ energySMART program is a three year program authorized to run through December 31, 2011.
